The automotive landscape at CES 2026 appears subdued, partly due to the recent withdrawal of electric vehicle incentives by the Trump administration. Despite this, Hyundai is set to showcase its innovative technologies, including the Holographic Windshield Display, which integrates a heads-up display into the windshield, minimizing distractions for drivers while providing enhanced viewing for passengers.
Hyundai's Mobis subsidiary plans to unveil over 30 mobility convergence technologies during the event. The Holographic Windshield Display measures 18.1 inches and utilizes holographic film developed in collaboration with Zeiss, transforming the windshield into a large display surface. Mass production for this technology is expected to commence in 2029.
Hyundai's presentation is scheduled for January 5 at 4 PM ET, and it can be livestreamed on both the HyundaiUSA and global YouTube channels. Additionally, the company will present its new Atlas robot, reflecting its ongoing investment in AI robotics.
