The new Galaxy A17 from Samsung is set to launch in the US on January 7 for a price of $199. This budget-friendly Android phone promises an impressive six years of updates for both the operating system and security, a notable feature in the current market.
Equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate, the device runs on the Exynos 1330 chipset, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The phone also boasts IP54 dust and water resistance.
Photography capabilities include a trio of cameras: a 50MP main rear camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP selfie camera, along with a 2MP macro lens. The A17 is available in both black and blue color options, and will be offered through various carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and Verizon.
