At CES 2026, Fender Audio introduced its latest innovations in the Bluetooth audio sector, featuring modular lossless headphones and versatile portable speakers designed to appeal to a variety of users. The new Fender Mix headphones are notable for their detachable components, allowing for customization and easy maintenance. Each earcup can be removed to access a hidden USB-C dongle which enables lossless audio and low-latency connections, enhancing the listening experience.
The Mix headphones are priced at $299 and offer impressive performance, with up to 100 hours of playback time when active noise cancellation (ANC) is off. Users can replace the removable battery quickly, ensuring longevity for on-the-go use. Although they provide excellent sound quality even with standard Bluetooth, the addition of the dongle makes high-fidelity audio more accessible.
Alongside the headphones, Fender unveiled the Elie 06 and Elie 12 portable speakers, which deliver high-quality sound in compact designs. The smaller Elie 06 is designed for portability while maintaining robust audio capabilities. Overall, Fender Audio aims to establish itself firmly within the competitive Bluetooth market through these innovative offerings.
