Dyson has introduced the HushJet Mini Cool, its inaugural handheld fan, which utilizes the innovative HushJet air projection technology. This system was initially featured in a quiet air purifier. The fan boasts a remarkable airflow capability of up to 25m/s, translating to approximately 55mph, and is powered by a brushless motor that operates at speeds of up to 65,000 RPM.
Weighing only 7.5 ounces, the compact device offers five speed settings, along with a boost mode, ideal for hot weather conditions. The fan is designed for convenience with USB-C charging and includes a charging stand. Its rechargeable battery provides up to six hours of continuous use per charge, making it suitable for desktop use.
The HushJet Mini Cool is priced at $100, a relatively affordable option compared to other Dyson products, although it is on the higher side for handheld fans. It will be available in three colors: the gray variant launches tomorrow, while the red version is set for release in May and the blue model will follow in June.
