YouTube will begin streaming the Coachella music festival on April 10, 2026, offering an extensive viewing experience that includes seven stages and special features. The livestream kicks off at 4 PM PDT and includes both horizontal and vertical streams, the latter being filmed exclusively on Google Pixel devices.
This year marks the return of multiview support, allowing fans to watch up to four stages simultaneously on their televisions, catering to the trend where over half of last year’s viewership occurred in living rooms. Additionally, select stages will be available in 4K resolution, enhancing the overall quality of the livestream.
YouTube is also launching a dedicated Coachella app for Android and iOS users to help plan their festival schedules. Highlights from previous festivals are now accessible through a 24/7 “Coachella TV” station, which features both archival performances and 2026 event highlights.
