Google has begun the international launch of its Gemini for Home program, expanding first to Canada after a rapid rollout in the United States. This move was confirmed by Anish Kattukaran, the company’s Chief Product Officer for Home and Nest, via social media. Starting today, users in Canada who signed up for early access will begin receiving invitations to join the program.
Initially, the program will be available exclusively in English, with plans to introduce support for French expected in early 2026. The rollout includes a variety of compatible devices, such as the Google Nest Hub (1st and 2nd gen), Google Nest Audio, and Google Home Mini (1st gen), among others.
While there are no details on future expansions beyond Canada, the swift pace of this launch suggests that Google may look to broaden its reach internationally in the coming months. Users are encouraged to provide feedback as the program develops.
