The Denza Z, a new hypercar from BYD's Denza subbrand, boasts over 1,000 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds, competing with top models like the Rimac Nivera. This all-electric vehicle was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show and showcases advanced features such as the DiSus-M intelligent suspension system and a Flash Charging capability.
Initially presented as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2025, the Denza Z has now been confirmed as a four-seater available in hard-top, convertible, and track configurations. While full specifications and distinctions between the models have yet to be disclosed, BYD has indicated that the track version will include enhancements over the standard models.
BYD plans to debut the Denza Z in Europe, with its first public appearance scheduled for the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK in July. Pricing details remain undisclosed, but the company aims to make this hypercar more accessible compared to its YangWang counterpart, which is limited to just 30 units.
