Belkin has introduced a new device, the ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter, at CES 2026, designed for seamless screen sharing from various devices without the need for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Priced at $150, this system includes a USB-C transmitter dongle and a USB-A to HDMI receiver, allowing users to connect to TVs, monitors, or projectors from a distance of up to 131 feet (40 meters).
This adapter supports casting in 1080p at a refresh rate of 60Hz, achieving latency of under 80ms. It is compatible with USB-C devices that utilize DisplayPort Alt Mode, including laptops running Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS, as well as various tablets and smartphones. Additionally, the ConnectAir Wireless enables multi-user screen sharing, accommodating up to eight transmitters.
While the device is not yet available for purchase, it is anticipated to launch early this year.
