The upgraded AirTag from Apple has been released, enhancing its item-finding capabilities with improved features. Available now for the same price as earlier models, it costs $29 for a single AirTag and $99 for a pack of four.
This latest version boasts a significantly louder speaker, now 50 percent more powerful, making it easier to locate lost items. Users can also benefit from an extended range with the Precision Finding feature, which can now operate from 50 percent farther than previous versions, thanks to its compatibility with newer iPhones and Apple Watches.
Additionally, the upgraded AirTag integrates with the Share Item Location function in the Find My app, allowing users to securely share their lost item's location with third parties, such as airlines for lost luggage recovery. While this refresh may not be as groundbreaking as other anticipated releases, it marks a positive step for Apple early in the year.
