Apple is set to enhance its product lineup with OLED displays for several devices, including the iPad mini, MacBook Pro, and iMac, from 2026 through 2028. According to reports, the iPad mini is expected to feature OLED technology in 2026, while the MacBook Pro will follow suit either late in 2026 or in 2027.
The iPad Air is anticipated to receive an update this year with an LCD display, but a subsequent model slated for 2027 is likely to incorporate OLED technology. Meanwhile, a new 24-inch iMac is projected for release in 2027 or 2028. The MacBook Air is not expected to adopt OLED displays until 2028, as reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
Current models of the iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad Pro already utilize OLED technology, providing enhanced image quality and color contrast compared to traditional LCDs.
