Apple is advancing its plans for the upcoming 20th anniversary iPhone, aiming for a launch next year, according to a report from Bloomberg. This new device is expected to feature an edge-to-edge display with curved glass, offering a nearly borderless appearance.
In addition to the anniversary models, Apple is also preparing to introduce a second-generation foldable iPhone. Both models will be similar in size to the pending iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which will debut this September and measure approximately 6.3 and 6.9 inches.
All three forthcoming devices are anticipated to utilize a 2-nanometer A21 chip, while the standard iPhone 18 is scheduled for a spring 2027 release with a less powerful A20 chip. The iPhone 18 Pro models will feature an A20 Pro processor, marking a significant transition from the previous 3-nanometer chips used in earlier flagship iPhones.
