The introduction of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 has sparked interest among users, particularly those transitioning from previous models. Launched three months ago, this model features enhancements including a larger display and faster charging capabilities.
As a long-time user of the standard Apple Watch, I recently decided to switch to the Ultra line due to its appealing features, which I initially overlooked. Key attributes such as the battery life, the Action button, and the Modular Ultra face have proven beneficial, particularly for sleep tracking. Notably, I appreciate the added functionality of always-on seconds displayed on the Modular Ultra face, which is exclusive to this model.
Despite my satisfaction with the Ultra 3, I remain hesitant about the price, especially since many features are not essential for my lifestyle. As I evaluate my future purchases, the upcoming Apple Watch Series 11, which includes a similar 46mm display, raises questions about the value of the Ultra's premium cost.
