Apple has unveiled significant enhancements in watchOS 26, introducing four new watch faces alongside updates to existing options. The new faces include Exactograph, which offers a modern take on traditional timekeeping with distinct hour, minute, and second displays; Flow, featuring dynamic Liquid Glass numerals that change with wrist movement; Waypoint, a live compass for navigation; and the Hermès Faubourg Party, which showcases animated characters based on time and movement.
In addition to new designs, the widely used Photos face has received two key upgrades: a Liquid Glass clock color option and a ‘Featured’ image source that highlights top images from users’ libraries. Furthermore, the always-on display feature now supports ticking seconds across more watch faces, enhancing functionality for Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch Series 11 users.
Another notable addition is the ‘hints’ feature, which appears as a Liquid Glass complication at the bottom of the watch face. This new element suggests apps and actions based on improved algorithms that utilize contextual and sensor data, providing a more personalized experience for users of watchOS 26.
