The upcoming Token2049 conference in Dubai, initially expected to take place on April 29-30, 2024, has been rescheduled to April 21-22, 2027. This decision was made in response to ongoing regional challenges affecting travel and logistics, which have created uncertainties for international events.
Despite earlier indications that preparations were on track for a sold-out event, organizers concluded that delaying the conference would better ensure the quality and safety expected by attendees. Recent regional airspace restrictions, particularly stemming from the US-Israel war that began on February 28, have further complicated travel within the Middle East.
Airlines such as Emirates, Etihad, flydubai, and Air Arabia are currently offering limited services, urging travelers to only fly if they have confirmed bookings.
