In conjunction with this announcement, the Ethereum Foundation has initiated a “Post-Quantum Ethereum” resource hub, intended to safeguard the blockchain against potential quantum computing vulnerabilities. Plans are in place to introduce quantum-resistant solutions at the protocol level by the same year, 2029. Meanwhile, Solana developers have already made strides by creating a quantum-resistant vault to protect user assets.
