The cancellation of the NFT Paris and RWA Paris conferences has been announced, with the events originally scheduled for February 2026. Organizers have cited severe impacts from the NFT market's decline as a primary reason for this decision. The total market capitalization for NFTs plummeted from approximately $9 billion in January 2025 to around $2.7 billion by 2026, reflecting a staggering 68% decrease year-over-year.
In a statement released via their social media account, the organizers mentioned that despite efforts to keep the conferences viable, including significant cost reductions, they were ultimately unable to proceed. Attendees were informed that while the future of such events remains uncertain, they are currently “closing this chapter.”
All ticket purchasers will receive refunds within 15 days, although some sponsors will not be refunded. The NFT market has faced challenges, with sales reportedly dropping to approximately $320 million in November and even lower figures in December 2025. Cointelegraph has reached out for further information on potential future events but has yet to receive a response.
