The launch of ai.com, a new platform by Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, introduces personal AI agents designed to assist users with various daily tasks. The website went live following a high-profile advertisement during Super Bowl 60, an event that attracts over 100 million viewers annually.
Users can now register for ai.com usernames, although they must await the activation of their customized AI agents. These agents are capable of managing emails, scheduling meetings, canceling subscriptions, and planning trips, among other tasks. Marszalek aims to foster the development of artificial general intelligence through a decentralized network of self-improving AI.
In April, Marszalek acquired the ai.com domain, marking what is believed to be the largest publicly disclosed domain sale ever. Following the launch, the site experienced a surge in traffic, leading to a temporary crash. Tech giants like Google and Amazon also advertised their AI products during the Super Bowl, with reports indicating they paid significant sums for ad placements.
