In a significant move to back pro-crypto legislation, Defend American Jobs, affiliated with the PAC Fairshake, will invest $5 million in support of Barry Moore's campaign for the US Senate. The campaign will kick off this week with advertisements featuring endorsements from former President Donald Trump on broadcast television and the Fox News Channel.
Moore, who has been recognized as ‘strongly supportive’ of cryptocurrency initiatives, previously served in the US House and was involved in discussions regarding the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. His alignment with crypto interests is further solidified by a survey indicating that only 17% of Republican voters would choose him over other candidates in a potential primary.
Fairshake, which has previously allocated approximately $130 million to pro-crypto candidates during the 2024 elections, aims to elevate Moore's profile as a leader in economic growth and cryptocurrency advocacy. The midterm primary elections are set for May, with the general election following on November 3.
